Metal Allegiance to pay tribute to fallen stars with upcoming EP!

Supergroup Metal Allegiance featuring Mike Portnoy and Alex Skolnick will pay tribute to fallen idols David Bowie, Lemmy and Glenn Frey with a 3 song EP featuring one cover song from each of those artists. The EP will be released on August 12th and will feature Death Angel vocalist Mark Osegueda (Suffragette City), Troy Sanders (Iron Fist) from Mastodon and also Arch Enemy singer Alissa White-Gluz (Life In The Fast Lane)...

Aussie band Meshiaak!!

Meshiaak is a new Australian band featuring ex 4Arm vocalist Danny Camilleri and Dean Wells from Taramaze. It also has the talenst of Jon Dette on drums who has played with bands such as Slayer, Anthrax and Iced Earth. Their new album 'Alliance Of Thieves' is out August 19 on Mascot Records. Steven Adler joins Guns n' Roses on stage for reunion

Classic Clip of the Week!

From 1990 'Uncle Tom's Cabin' by pop metal/hard rock band Warrant. This is such an under rated classic from the hard rock scene. Warrant unfortunately will forever be known as the band who brought us Cherry Pie, yet there is so many great songs on their first few albums, this being one of them. The bands 1992 album 'Dog Eat Dog' would probably be in my top 10 under rated albums of all time. Unfortunately singer Jani Lane passed away in 2011, however the band are still touring with all original members with master vocalist Robert Mason and have released a cool album titled 'Rockaholic'. 'Uncle Tom's Cabin' showed what a great songwriter Jani Lane was, so kick back and enjoy and of course crank it loud!!
