Nightrage to release Venomous early 2017!

Greek/Swedish melodic death band Nightrage will release a new album on March 31st titled 'The Venomous'! Below is the title track from the upcoming album, which sounds very promising!

Battle Beast release first single from new album!

'King For A Day' is the first single from Finnish heavy metal act Battle Beast. Their new album 'Bringer Of Pain' will be released February 17th next year. I've heard the whole album and it is better than their last album which was slightly disappointing. This track has a huge crossover appeal with a more poppy feel to it, but I can assure you that the majority of the album is heavy!

Anything Goes for Steel Panther!

Love them or hate them, Steel Panther continue to sell out shows across the world. They are releasing their new album 'Lower The Bar' next year on February 24th. Below is the new single from that album 'Anything Goes'. Maybe a good song to avoid if you're not into crude humour. I don't mind it. Regardless if you like the lyrics or not, the song is rocking. Would love to hear these guys do a serious album, but this is their bread and butter!

Warbringer to release new album early 2017!

Californian thrash metal band Warbringer will release a new album on March 31st 2017 titled 'Woe To The Vanquished'. Their last album took a harder edge again with touches of death metal incorporated into their thrash sound. Hopefully this album shows more progress! Can't wait! Check out a new track titled 'Remain Violent' which the band played live recently at the Whiskey a go go in Hollywood. Sounds killer!!!

Introducing Tokyo Motor Fist!

Tokyo Motor Fist are a supergroup of sorts featuring Ted Poley(Danger Danger) on vocals, Steve Brown (Trixter) on guitars, Chuck Burgi (Rainbow) on drums and Greg Smith (Rainbow) on bass. Check out the rough audio sample below which features an incredibly catchy melodic rock track from the album titled 'Love Me Insane'! Can't Wait for this! Self titled album is out on February 24th via Frontiers!

Greek power metal band Firewind have released another new track from their upcoming new album 'Immortals' due on January 20. The video is for the new single 'Ode To Leonidas'. Great rocking tune that of course features the guitar wizardry of Gus G!

Classic Clip of the Week!

Joe Satriani - 'Always With Me, Always With You'. One of my favourite guitarists of all time released one of the all time greatest guitar records in 1987 with 'Surfing With The Alien'. This track is a classic and one of Joe's finest work in a long career. He still plays the song regularly live too. So kick back and chill to one of the greatest ballads ever written!
