Swiss hard rockers Gotthard to release 'Silver' on January 13th!

Gotthard are one of my favourite bands, and IMO one of the most under rated within the hard rock and metal communities. The band now of course has an Aussie connection with Nic Maeder handling vocals since the unfortunate passing in 2010 of the great Steve Lee. The band are celebrating their 25th anniversary with the release of a brand new studio album titled 'Silver' which will be released on January 13th next year. Cannot wait! If you haven't checked these guys out yet, shame on you...

Classic Clip of the Week!

It wasn't just Guns N' Roses who had a cool red head as a lead singer when the last peak of hard rock hit in the late 80's. Under rated band Dangerous Toys were great! They weren't pop enough to be called glam rock, and they had a tougher look to go with their sound like AC/DC. The Texan hard rock band hit the scene big with this track 'Scared' which is actually a song dedicated to the legendary Alice Cooper. The song is from the bands 1989 debut album which is also arguably their best of the 4 they released. Although never really disbanding, the band only get together a couple of times a year to play live. Vocalist Jason McMaster leads a great hard rock band Broken Teeth who you should all check out if you like Dangerous Toys. So check out this classic clip 'Scared' from the bands debut album, and keep your fingers crossed the band might release some new material in the near future!
